I would highly recommend John's services. He was knowledgeable and explained the type of hearing loss my mom has. It was also clear that he has the patient's best interests at heart as he clearly explained what we could expect from the hearing aid rather than just pushing for a sale. He also patiently answered my mom's questions and welcomed us to come back if she had any questions or problems. I will definitely recommend John to any other people I know who need help with their hearing.

John and the lady at the front desk were very kind and willing to help with any requests I had. The service that they provided was professional and incredible. Also, the place looks so beautiful and clean (so they website, they did amazing job there as well). My experience at Meta Hearing was amazing and I will absolutely do not hesitate to visit them again, for any other similar inquiries.

My dad had issues with hearing on his left ear for the past few years. When we heard about John and Meta Hearing, we thought to explore our options. John was professional, knowledgable and easy to work with. It also helps that he speaks mandarin which makes communicating with my dad much easier. Close to 6 years ago I had an appointment with John Wong to see if I might benefit from having hearing aids. I had some hearing loss, and was having trouble hearing in certain settings. I was totally delighted with John's friendly, skilled, professional care and his assistance in doing full tests of my hearing, helping me choose the best hearing aid for my needs, providing me with hearing aids to try out for two weeks, then getting me my own pair! I was very surprised at how small, comfortable and almost invisible they are. I still remember coming home with the ones I was trying out. Standing inside, near the living room window I heard something and said to my husband "What's THAT?!" He looked at me, puzzled and said "It's a bird!" It was outside the window! 🙂 I'm way past the 5 years free service period, and my hearing aids are still working perfectly and every single day they enhance my quality-of-life amazingly. I'm so thankful to John for setting me up with them and programming them for exactly my life style. He first asked me questions about what types of things I did in my life, then adjusted my hearing aids to be a perfect match! I love once again being able to go out into Nature and hear the wind blow, the birds sing; crickets chirping, streams trickling! My hearing aids have made such a huge positive difference in my life. John was also able to offer really good value-for-cost. The price of my PHONAK aids was shockingly LOWER than prices quoted elsewhere (before my appointment with John I'd thought I would not be able to afford hearing aids at all - even after the government rebate. But they were way more affordable than I'd thought, and John helped me with the government rebate.) Since then, once when something was loose I made an appointment with him, and he cheerfully fixed it right away in his office, and he makes it clear he's there to help if any adjustments need to be made etc. I just had an appointment today; I wanted to ensure that I did not have any wax buildup (which I did not). It had been a few years, so John tested me hearing again. I was delighted with my appointment and John was his usually friendly, knowledgable and helpful self! 🙂 If you're experiencing hearing loss, or wondering about the possibility of getting hearing aids, I hope you do yourself a favour and make an appointment with John. He really is exceptionally good, and so nice. All testing is covered by OHIP, there are various options in hearing aids (and in the way they are set up for your own lifestyle) and the prices are very good! I was referred to John for checking my ears. My hearing has deteriorated in recent years. It is age related and I am 65. I was hesitant for hearing aids, don’t look good on me and expensive. After having my ears checked by John and confirmed hearing deterioration of over 30% I faced the decision on having hearing aids. John patiently explained my situation and answered my many questions. He let me tried on different hearing aids and explained the difference. He didn’t pushed me. Finally I decided on one of the good but less expensive ones. And on Nov/17/2022, my second visit to John, I got my new hearing aids! John set it up professionally because it was quite technical for me! He promised to help whenever I got problems. After 3 weeks of using the hearing aids I am delighted. It has been amazing hearing back those noises I have been missing, especially those low noises with high frequency. I can hear bird sing and flowing water and leaf drop and door cracks. It has enriched my life and improved my daily communication. I like John’s patience and professionalism and likable character. He really concentrated on my need. Meanwhile I have talked to several friends for booking John’s service. I won’t hesitate to refer him!
